Case Study

Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination

Creating a website for a new multi-disciplinary ideas based organisation based in Paris under the auspices of Columbia University.

The Client

Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination, facilitating cross-pollination of interdisciplinary thought on a global scale.

The Challenge

To create a website for the Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination to promote an annual fellowship programme with a cohort of 16 fellows, drawn from Columbia Faculty and an international community of writers, artists and theorists. The client also wanted the website to  endorse a calendar of events linked to the fellowship programme as well as showcasing fellows' projects and excerpts of work undertaken during their time with the Institute.

The Result

Using the architecture of the building in which the institute is housed as a starting point, we created a responsive, beautiful and informative site that promotes the ethos of Columbia Institute for Ideas and Imagination as an place of creative thought and centre of international intellectual and creative exchange.
