The Client's Brief
Rua Red, opened in 2006 as a community arts space, wanted to re-position itself to focus it's offering as a contemporary art gallery, and promote the art space housing two galleries, a theatre/cinema, a dance studio, a conference room, a digital media suite, recording facilities, music rooms, workshop areas, artist’s studios, office space and a café.
What We Did
The new contemporary web design reflects the organisation as a contemporary gallery space, while retaining it's position in the community. This is achieved through a user-orientated accessible design and a well thought out navigation system that allows users find out about the events and facilities at Rua Red and learn more about how to get involved.
The resulting new website tells a clearer story of Rua Red and gives the user an improved online experience both on desktop and mobile. Even though the venue itself has many uses for a range of audiences, the new website maintains a clean navigation which allows all users to easily reach their goal.
