Wexford Festival Opera

Re-imagining an online presence for a festival breathing new life into forgotten masterpieces

The Challenge

Wexford Festival Opera is a leading opera festival and recently won Best Opera Festival at the 2017 International Opera Awards. Their previous website was not mobile friendly and customers found booking tickets online to be cumbersome. They needed a website that would help the festival to increase online sales through both desktop and mobile devices.

Our Solution

We designed a new interface for the website that both looked and worked beautifully across multiple platforms as well as having full integration with Spectrix ticketing system. Visual tone was achieved through use of high quality photography supplied by the festival, allowing an image led design solution. 

The Outcome

After this site refresh, online ticket sales and revenue increased by twenty percent. By encouraging visitors to explore the full programme through clean navigation and vibrant use of images, the new site leads visitors on an easier and more enjoyable journey to purchase.
