By bringing many of the world's finest musicians, performers, writers and artists to Kilkenny every August, Kilkenny Arts Festival has long been recognised as a singular celebration of culture in Ireland. Having worked with KAF as a digital partner for over 10 years, Pixel Design were keen to apply their expertise to the design of a new mobile friendly website.
Accommodating growth in mobile usage was key to this project as well as a continuity of online growth. A smooth user journey was vital to the evolution of the festival, ensuring the each user journey lead to successful hurdle-free ticket purchase for interested parties.
Helping to more effectively market the festival programme, the new website also vastly improves user experience. Conversion rates have increased exponentially, particularly on mobile. Added to this is new utility of booking and browsing, catering to a diverse audience of international and local website users, particularly in the run up to and during the festival.
